This policy explains what information 401kardboard(“we”, “us”) collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to the website, the catalog, and the community chat.
We use Google Sign-In for accounts. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier with us. We never receive or store your Google password.
The site has no contact form and collects no messages of its own: conversations happen through our social channels (Instagram, Whatnot, Facebook, TikTok), under those platforms’ own privacy policies. The site takes no payments and collects no payment or shipping information.
Messages, images, and reactions you post in the community channels are stored on our systems and are visible to other users. Uploaded images are screened by an automated content-moderation service before they appear publicly.
We collect standard server and analytics data: pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device and browser type, and IP address. Analytics are provided by Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies to track individuals across sites.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
We share data with the services required to run the site: Vercel (hosting, analytics, and image storage), Supabase (database and realtime), and Google (sign-in and image moderation). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — principally a session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Account and community content is retained while your account is active. Deleted messages are retained in a soft-deleted state for a limited period so moderators can review reports.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and disassociates your community posts.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify signed-in users.
